CEDS
Southeast
Conference and the Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes
of Alaska worked together to publish the Southeast Alaska Comprehensive
Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).
The CEDS can be used to guide economic development in Southeast
Alaska. Participating communities will not be required to prepare
an Overall Economic Development Plan (OEDP), and communities qualifying
for grants on CEDS projects will receive a 10% lower match requirement
from Economic Development Administration (EDA). It is a requirement
of EDA that the document be updated annually.
