Changes to the Pacific Salmon Treaty, proposals for renewing Snake River salmon runs, fish farming and global competition all factor heavily in the fate of our salmon harvesting/processing industry. We continue to monitor these issues, and support our wild salmon harvests. We will continue to work with all elements of the industry to promote a solid, viable fishery.

Mariculture

Mariculture development is one of Southeast Conference’s priorities this year. Below is a letter we send to DNR to protect future aquaculture developments:
