Low-No Emissions Marine Vessel Integration Blueprint RFP#2025-05

Southeast Conference is requesting proposals from qualified individuals, companies, or organizations to develop an Integration Blueprint for a Low-No Emissions Marine Vessel in specific AMHS routes. SEC, in collaboration with DOT&PF, invites proposals to work with the project team and community stakeholders to understand each of the candidate community’s potential in hosting a Low-No vessel and help inform shoreside and vessel needs. The selected contractor will provide critical research, evaluation and modeling to support SEC and AMHS’s efforts to identify optimal shore power and infrastructure to support an electric ferry that would be owned and operated by the Alaska DOT&PF.

Southeast Alaska Sustainability Strategy Report RFP#2025-02

Southeast Conference is requesting proposals from qualified individuals, companies, or organizations to develop a comprehensive report on the Southeast Alaska Sustainability Strategy (SASS) initiative. The report should capture lessons learned, success stories, and the overall impact of the initiative, and be presented as a publishable document with supplementary materials. The selected contractor will be expected to compile and analyze relevant data, engage with key stakeholders, and ensure the final deliverables meet the objectives of showcasing the SASS initiative’s activities and successes. Our goal is to create a modern, user-friendly online platform that showcases the work being done by SEC and its partners to drive economic growth and development in Southeast Alaska. The redesigned website will serve as a centralized hub where members, stakeholders, and the public can access updated information about SEC projects, events, and resources. Southeast Conference’s Small Business Energy Assessment & Audit Program provides a pathway to low-cost energy audits and grant assistance to reduce energy use and associated costs. We will work with any small business in Alaska* that wants to invest in clean energy and lower their energy bills.

Southeast Alaska Electric Vehicle Charging Station Implementation Program – RFA 2024-01
Due to the environmental climate, hydroelectric power generation and a limited road system, Southeast Alaska communities lead the state in adoption of electric vehicles (EV). The Southeast Conference (SEC) intends to support the construction of six (6) to ten (10) Level 2 Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) charging stations in the region’s communities that do not currently have charging stations available for the public. This project is funded from a settlement made with the Environmental Protection Agency and Volkswagen.
