Elizabeth recently relocated to Juneau from Haines and is the newest member of the Chancellor’s Executive Cabinet for the University of Alaska Southeast. Prior to her role at UAS, Elizabeth worked as an earth scientist, community relations specialist, and corporate executive in mineral exploration for projects in the US and Canada. Elizabeth currently co-chairs the SEC Natural Resources Committee. She is a past board member of the Alaska Miners Association and Haines Chamber of Commerce and former deputy public information officer for the Haines Borough EOC. Elizabeth is also an avid barn quilt artist and Southeast adventurist.
