Petersburg Census Area

The Wrangell-Petersburg Census Area ceased to exist on May 30, 2008 when the City & Borough of Wrangell incorporated as a Unified Home Rule Borough. The boundaries were redrawn and the remaining area is called Petersburg Census Area.
